Joy's 2026 Woolly Dot

Handcrafted from carefully selected pieces of Joy's beautiful 2026 fleece, this one-of-a-kind Woolly Dot celebrates the character of a truly special Jacob sheep.

Joy has a striking fleece with rich shades of chocolate brown, cream and soft natural curls. Unfortunately, her fleece never comes away in one piece when she is shorn, making it unsuitable for creating one of our larger Living Rugs®. Rather than letting such beautiful wool go to waste, I carefully piece together the best sections to create these unique Woolly Dots, giving Joy's fleece a wonderful new purpose.

Joy is certainly a beautiful sheep to admire, with all the distinctive markings Jacob sheep are known for. Although she's never been particularly keen on being handled and prefers to keep her distance, she's a much-loved member of our flock, and her individual personality is all part of her charm.

Each Woolly Dot is handmade using traditional wet-felting techniques, creating a decorative piece that showcases the natural beauty of British wool. No two are ever exactly alike, making every Woolly Dot as individual as the sheep it came from.

Approximate size: 48 cm diameter.

Please note that, as this is a handmade item created from a natural fleece, slight variations in colour, texture and shape are all part of its unique charm.
